Blackbird Farm selects top quality Black Angus cows
known for their production quality to yield large
ribeyes with excellent marbleizing attributes.
Much of the farm's success is the result of proper
animal care and a quest for top Black Angus cows.
Since 2002 under the Environmental Quality Incentives
Program (EQIP), the Natural Resources Conservation
Service worked with Kevin and Ann Marie Bouthillette to
address several natural resource concerns including
water quality, animal health, pasture conditions, and

If you are a woman or Hispanic farmer and believe that
you were improperly denied farm loan benefits by USDA
between 1981 and 2000, you may be eligible for
compensation. Earlier this year, Agriculture
Secretary Tom Vilsack and Assistant Attorney General
Tony West announced the establishment of a process to
resolve the claims of Hispanic and women farmers and
ranchers who assert that they were discriminated against
when seeking USDA farm loans.
